Join us to discuss our book club pick, What To Do When I'm Gone by Suzy Hopkins.
What to Do When I'm Gone is the illustrated instruction manual for getting through life without one's mom. It's also a poignant look at loss, love, and taking things one moment at a time. By turns whimsical, funny, touching, and above all pragmatic, it will leave readers laughing and teary-eyed. And it will spur conversations that enrich family members' understanding of one another.
Our book club is a safe space for all to attend; you don’t need to finish the book to join the discussion. We hope to see you there!

Reduced life expectancy, worsening health outcomes, health inequity, and declining healthcare options - these are now realities for most Americans. Daniel E. Dawes argues that political determinants of health create the social drivers including poor environmental conditions, inadequate transportation, unsafe neighborhoods, and lack of healthy food options that affect all other dynamics of health. By understanding these determinants, their origins, and their impact on the equitable distribution of opportunities and resources, we will be better equipped to develop and implement actionable solutions to close the health gap. Join us to discuss how these political decisions impact health outcomes in our community and the changes we want to see in the future.
