LGBTQIA+ youth face an increasingly hostile political climate that often trickles into spaces that should be safe. With the mounting body of evidence showing a decline in youth mental health, it’s important for youth-serving professionals to learn how to create inclusive, safe environments. In this workshop, we will talk about gender, and sexuality, and identify evidence-informed strategies to include LGBTQIA+ youth communities in our work. This is a professional development opportunity and will include interactive discussions and activities. Upon request, participants who complete the workshop will receive a certificate of completion.
